Holidays are over and I’m back after quite long brake from the TAW and the script. My plan was to start the next campaign this weekend without any changes, but after reading last 10 pages on Il2 forum I decided to tune the script a little bit. Destruction of depot and captured territory will have lower effect on tank convoys in terms of spawning. I will try to adjust number of tank convoys on the map to different numbers of players on the server during the day. I hope it will somehow improve the gameplay. To find out we have to test it during the next campaigns. If it won’t meet our expectations then we can always return to the previous system with tanks.



Anyway I plan to start next campaign in the next week.

The new TAW campaign starts on 16.09.18 Sunday European morning.

 

Not much changes this time:

Tanks spawning algorithm has been tuned. Destruction of depots and captured cities have lower impact on frequency of tanks spawning. It also works now in slightly different way. We will test it during this campaign.Buildings and towns on Stalingrad maps (work still in progress but I hop I will have done it before #4 map)Rain during negative temperatures on Kuban map fixed.Sorties “On ground” aren’t counted in statistics.
