Salut Messieurs,

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ ... s/3325580/

Détail de la mission 1 :

Situation
A right-wing General of the Iranian Army announced a military coup across the country on 11 June 2011, deposing the existing government. The Iranian army had deployed several anti-ship missile launchers along the country's coastal area over the past week. Then the new government suddenly enforced a complete block on all types of civilian and military vessels sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. Thousands of commercial cargo ships are stuck inside the Persian Gulf sea. The United States and its allies declared a special military operation to unblock the shipping route. Two aircraft carrier groups, CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt, CVN-73 George Washington, and Marine Special Purpose Force, were sent to the area as commanded under the U.S. Navy Fifth Fleet. Together with the U.S. Air Force 380th Air Expeditionary Wing based in Al Dhafra Air Base, a full-scale strike is planned and the military confrontation looks inevitable.

Tasks Primary Objective: Destroy as many enemy tanks as possible and prevent them from pushing south

Threats 1. SA-2, SA-6 at LAR Air Base; SA-6 in the North Corridor; AAA & Manpads in Bandar Abbas 2. Iranian Fighter Sweep Mig-21, Mig-29, F-14, F-5, F-1, Russia Su-27

Designer note :
Spoiler
1) As the Mission Commander, the First Player must select Hawk 1-1 (tail# 211). The second player is recommended to sit in Hawk 1-2 (tail# 212). The third and fourth Players are recommended to select Hawk 2-1 (tail# 213) and Hawk 2-2 (tail# 214). If more than 4 Players join the mission, recommend to sit into Hawk 1 and Hawk 2 evenly.

2) This is a Preplanned CAS mission, no need to contact JTAC, just follow the following briefing and in-game task guidance and engage targets at designated area.

Hawk 1-1 is the Mission Commander and Lead for Hawk 1 Flight, whilst Hawk 2-1 is the Lead for Hawk 2 Flight. All aircraft will start cold on deck, Bingo fuel setting is 3500 lbs. Everyone will skip the fire test and other normal testing procedures, and we must all launch at 1210LT, as our allied ground forces are facing increasing pressure from the Iranian battle tanks in the north. Luckily, Mother's current location is not far from the Strait, only 100nm from our target area and roughly a 15-minute flight leg. Classic case I launch, after clearing Mother's DME-7, we will turn to WP1 and start running rendezvous right away. We will climb at a modest rate and aiming 15K MSL at WP1. Flight Lead will reduce speed to Mach 0.5 until all his flight members joined up, then we will increase speed to Mach 0.7.

After passing WP1, we will switch COMM1 to STRIKE (Channel 2) and COMM2 to HAWK (Channel 3). We will maintain Mach 0.7 at 15K MSL and push to the operation area. We will check in with STRIKE during the ingress phase and get some situation updates. As far as we know, for now, the Iranian Army 2nd Corps has sent eight tank brigades and they are advancing fast to the south. As we just took over Mountain Genu last night and haven't built any defensive stronghold yet, our timely support from the air will be crucial to our ground forces. We will Fence In and get our Mavericks warmed up before feet dry (WP2), and then request the final attack order from STRIKE. Once cleared, we will run in, use A-G Radar GMT mode to search and destroy the Iranian tanks. WP3 and WP4 are the two entrances to the valley on the west and east side of Mount Genu, which is currently under our friendlies' control. These two areas are now codenamed "Dallas" and "Memphis", whilst the Bandar Abbas region is codenamed "New Orleans".

So keep in mind that we are only authorized to engage ground targets to the north of WP3 and WP4. Friendly ground forces are operating in Dallas and Memphis regions, so we must verify that the targets we have locked are not in the south of WP3 and WP4, unless we get a battleground situation update and clear instruction from STRIKE. We are not expecting any effective air defense in the CAS operation area, the desert valley between Mountain Genu and Mountain Gishan, but we still need to be cautious for ballistic defense if we are too close to those tanks. Our 20mm Guns won't do much damage to those heavily armored tanks, so don't make stupid attempts, use your Mavericks only. We will also face enemy airborne threats with a large number of Fighter Sweep sorties by the Iranian Air Force this morning, but I trust our fellow aviators will take care of them.

After we used up our AGM-65F missiles, we will check out with STRIKE and egress via WP6. It will be a quick mission, but focus all the time! Good Luck!
